Calling All Welsh Wedding Suppliers: The LUSH LIST

Well fabulously, you’ll be pleased to hear we are increasing the size of our LUSH List!

Since its launch over 12 months ago, The LUSH List has become the most viewed part of our website. You lovely lot are using it so much and we love hearing from suppliers telling us their clients found them through it! (It gives us a warm, fuzzy feeling inside). So… as we continue to grow and improve this kick ass Welsh Wedding Blog, we have opened a  few more spaces within each of our categories. Read on to find out what its all about and how you can get involved.

The LUSH List BannerThe Lush list is a fabulous online collection of all our favourite venues & suppliers across Wales that have either featured on our blog, been recommended by our readers or we simply LOVE. We’d love to invite you to be part of it.

It is a wonderful collection from across our gorgeous country, aimed to help and encourage Welsh Brides and Grooms to use Welsh companies.

LUSH List Map of WalesMembership is just a one off payment of £150 for a 12 month listing on our blog within ‘The LUSH LIST’.

What we need from you is

  • 200-300 words about your company,
  • your logo,
  • up to 3 images
  • all your links added (website, FB, twitter, telephone number etc.)

All this works out at just £12.50 per month!

As a lush list member it will also give you the opportunity to get involved in upcoming features & styled shoots throughout the year which will obviously give you more exposure to our readers.

We’ll also share more of your content on our growing facebook page & twitter account. Bookings are being taken on a first come first served basis and categories are limited.

CWTCHFEST: One Sleep To Go

Eek… its Cwtchfest Eve and we are like little kids running around, ridiculously excited at the delights that await tomorrow.

We do hope you will all be joining us. If you are yet to buy your ticket, you can do so by simply clicking on the link below.

What time does it all start? 

The event opens at 11am and there are 100 AMAZING goody bags (full of actual goodies!) for those arriving first (one for each engaged couple)

You’ll be given a site plan (see below) upon arrival which will detail where everything is and a timetable for when the workshops, live music & tours of the Glanusk Estate are running.

Our huge exhibitor tent is full to the brim of Wales’ leading wedding professionals. In the Yurt we have our fabulous workshops. There is a pop up tea room in the tipi and Live music and a bar in the main stretch tent. PLUS lots lots more…

Directions:

You need to come in the main gates to the Estate off the A40 – look for the Cwtchfest banner.  The entrance is about 2 miles out of Crickhowell on the A40, travelling in the direction of Brecon.

When you arrive on site, you will be directed to the parking area. There will be stewards onsite to direct you. Once parked you will need to make your way to the registration desk to collect your ID&C wristband.

PLEASE remember to bring your ticket with you! Eventbrite will have sent you an email which includes a barcode. We can simply scan this for speed.ID&C wristbands

Can I buy a ticket on the door? 

Yes… but you will need to pay £10 cash (each) as there is no card facility on the site.

Children are very welcome at CWTCHFEST. An entry fee of £1 each is payable on the door.

Who is exhibiting?

A full list of all our exhibitors is printed on our site map which you will be given upon arrival. We have a main exhibitor tent where you will find most of our exhibitors such as photographers, florists, bridal wear etc…  However, across the field there will be many other exhibitors showcasing their larger products and services such as the incredible Show Marquees, Stretch tents, Yurt, Bell tents, VW camper vans, live music, pop up tea room plus most of the catering companies.

There is also a very special surprise waiting for you to discover in the secret chapel! Make sure you make some time to visit it during the day. We promise you won’t be disappointed! There is something truly beautiful in there waiting for you to discover.

Any other info I need to know?

  • Glanusk is a private estate with stunning grounds please make sure you all wear appropriate footwear and be prepared for all weather eventualities- the weather forecast is looking good but we do live in beautiful Wales- so bring your suncream and your brolly!
  • We are sorry but no dogs are allowed onto the Glanusk Estate.
  • PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING CASH. There are NO card facilities on site
  • #Cwtchfest2016 is the hashtag of the event- use in your social media feeds so we can find you and see your amazing festival pics.

Shhh…..Today I wanted to let you in on a secret. Its something very special we’re planning to launch later this month. Its called, The LUSH LIST.LUSH LIST MAP

Since our lovely Welsh Wedding blog started back in 2013, we regularly receive lots of emails from engaged couples asking us to recommend venues & suppliers throughout Wales.

This got us thinking… Why don’t we create a super cool directory for you all?  A new section to the blog that features all the cool suppliers we love PLUS the ones that you (past Brides & Grooms) also recommend!

Good idea hey?! (We think so too)

We want to help make finding suppliers easy for you. We want to save you hours of scouring the internet. Our LUSH LIST will point you in the direction of some of Wales’ finest wedding professionals. Companies that we have all used for our own weddings, suppliers we have worked with professionally at weddings, experts we’ve already featured on our blog as well as new and upcoming businesses that we feel offer something truly unique.

 So… as we continue beavering away behind the blog, putting together this kick ass directory. We want to let you know how you can get involved to help make this really special!
