What a day we have for you today!!!  They say things happen in threes! Not only is it our very own welsh Valentines- St Dwynwen’s day, but it is also our beautiful Cwtch founder MARIA FARRELLY’s birthday and what better day to launch the sale of our CWTCHFEST 2017 tickets!!!

Cwtchfest is taking place in the stunning St Fagans National History Museum on the 9th April 2017 and is Wales’ original wedding festival.

From TODAY until VALENTINES DAY you can get your tickets half price at a special Early bird rate.   Yes you read that right – HALF PRICE!

Let us tell you a bit about Cwtchfest and our events and why we do what we do.

Cwtchfest is all about helping you, our lovely brides (and grooms) get the most out of your planning experience.

Here are our first Cwtchfesters through the door in September- at the start on the left and the end of the day on the right.  Goodybag in hand, they had received hair and make up trial, attended workshops including one on making buttonholes with the lovely Eva from The Flowerhive, sampled cocktails, listened to live music in the field whilst having lunch and were just about to get a free henna tattoo from the talented Hennavative.  They loved the entire day!!

We also wanted to showcase some outstanding Welsh wedding venues and it does not get more welsh than St Fagans National History Museum.  Our very own Lindsey got married here so it holds a special place in all our hearts and holds a lot of nostalgic memories for many.  Just look at what this stunning venue has to offer…

The event also allows you to experience MEGA outdoor structures that are available for your wedding before booking.  Like the beautiful stretch tents from Stretchevent.  These guys have an amazing array of structures to help bring your outdoor wedding to life.

Anwen Sault-Jones, Venue Hire Assistant comments:

“St Dwynwen’s Day traditionally celebrates the Welsh patron saint of lovers so what better time to visit St Fagans to discuss wedding requirements and visualise what your big day could look like here.  St Fagans is a wonderful wedding venue and caters for so many different tastes and styles so I hope as many couples as possible visit us on Sunday.  We hope to inspire lots of people and provide them with useful contacts and ideas while they plan their big day.”

St Fagans has become a popular wedding destination in recent years, due to its elegant formal gardens, historic buildings and outstanding catering.  Licensed for civil ceremonies and wedding receptions, the showcase offers a great opportunity to view the venue and see what’s available either for a future wedding or for a vintage hen party with a difference.  Castle gardens-mariafarrellyphotographyImage by: Maria Farrelly Photography
