It is going to be even bigger and better this year and being held at the home of the Green man FestivalGlanusk Estate. It is a super cool event and a really refreshing change from your typical wedding fair, we are very excited…you are in for a real treat.

The iGency is a live entertainment agency based in South Wales. Run by myself & my partner Ryan, between us we have over 30 years professional music industry and performance experience. My background is West End Theatre & Ryan is one of Wales’ top session drummers and has toured the world with numerous international superstars. Cwtchfest is a rare and exclusive opportunity to see for yourself the magic a live band can bring to your wedding. Live entertainment is such a special part of any wedding it will be a talking point for years to come. So much of the feedback we receive talks about the ‘band making the night’, ‘creating an amazing atmosphere’, ‘filling the dance floor’… the right band truly does just that, nothing else beats it. My advice when booking a band would be do not just go for the cheapest option like anything you get what you pay for, anyone can call themselves a “wedding band” but chances are the reason they are cheapest is because they are not as good. Today Cwtchers we have one of our fabulous Lush list members Music For You on the blog with their three top tips for you. But first they explain a little on what they do….
Music for You is run by professional musician Andrew Jones, who has been involved in the industry for in excess of 25 years and who prides himself in providing quality professional musicians, who perform live music, to the very highest standards.
When selecting the type of music you want for your “Special” Day, Andrew understands the importance of getting things just right and will personally talk you through the many options available to you, in order to provide a bespoke service, tailored to your individual needs and tastes.
This will include all aspects of your wedding Day, right from the “big moment” for the arrival of the Bride, the music played during the signing of the Register, the Recessional music as the newly-married Bride and Groom exit the Ceremony, the Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast, through to the Evening Party and the music for the First Dance.
It’s also important to get the right musical combinations to suit your day, which is why Music for You takes time to get to know the Bride and Groom properly and to find out what their particular musical tastes are from the outset. Are there any special pieces of music which you both like? Is there a recurring theme for the Wedding and would you like music that reflects that? Would you also like the musicians dressed in a particular style?

Today Cwtchers we have our fabulous Lush Listers Guest who who do an alternative to the usual photo booth. They have their top 3 tips for brides to be but first they explain a little of what they do so very well…
In a nutshell we (Dylan and Leanne) provide a lightweight, pop-up mobile studio, a fresh alternative to the usual photo booths, you know the ones we mean (black box.. in the corner of room… 4 people in like sardines…)
We like to think that the ‘Guest Who’ Photo Booth has a touch of the handmade, DIY quality that fits in with many current wedding styles, but with all the professionalism of a commercial photo booth machine.
Whatever theme or style you have for your wedding, we can incorporate it into the booth…. you could say that we are style chameleons!
Based in South Wales, but we do travel all over the UK, Guest Who prides itself on being more personal than all the ‘others’.
We love crazy prop requests (we make specific signs for in jokes, phrases) in addition to the usual Photo booth sayings, we source specific prop requests (provided we can get it) to the needs of the happy couple.
We do all this through a meeting (ideally at the venue) prior to the event… just to iron out all the info, such as timings, so we don’t bring in our stuff in the middle of the grooms (or Brides) speech, where the booth will go (so we don’t set up in the middle of the buffet area) and any other issues… But also, its great to put a names to faces.
