Hello fellow readers! My name is Olivia and I am working alongside Cwtch the Bride and Maria Farrelly this week for my year 10 work experience. I decided to create a blog post based upon what teenage guests can wear to a wedding event, as I am interested in both the fashion and photography industry. So without further ado, here is ‘The Teenage Guide to a Wedding Wardrobe’.
For a bohemian styled outfit, a few pieces of extra jewellery and accessories would complete the look. The Silver Coin Head Chain adds a unique twist to the outfit and would make you stand out of the crowd while the colours of the Mesh Skater Dress, the Heeled Sandals and the Lola Bracelet co-ordinate well with each other for an easy combination.
Airtex Mesh Skater Dress – £55
Lola Bracelet Trio – £5
If you want to achieve a pastel princess outfit, a lace pink dress from ASOS would be perfect for you. Match this light mini dress with a pair of ankle flats, a cut out necklace and a flower clutch bag to get a happily ever after.
If you prefer a more comfortable choice, this red floral maxi dress will do you wonders. With a flower crown to go with the print on the dress and white cut out slipper shoes to give your feet a break. The chain bracelet also gives your outfit a modern theme using current trends.
For a male’s wedding event look, try adding some smart shoes and a shirt to a more casual denim jacket and spray on jeans. This makes it bold and catchy for onlookers. It is an effortless outfit with little thought to it.
Zara Printed stretch shirt – £15.99
New Look Skinny Jeans – £19.99
If you want to make a good impression, dress smartly to give yourself a fashionable yet serious outfit. A plain white shirt and bow tie will blend well with each other and is a classic look for wedding events. The suede desert boots will keep you within the youth range and the blue printed chinos will finish the look off with style.
Desert Boots – £25
