To some women their shoes are (almost) as important as the man in their life, Classic Bride Charlie has gone on the hunt to find some shoe inspiration from the high street & online and managed to find some beauties!
Shoes. For some women they are top of the list of priorities and for others, well they can be the bane of their lives! This season there are some absolutely GORGEOUS shoes that would be suitable not just for the wedding day but for wearing on honeymoon and time and time again, Kurt Geiger in particular has a huge range of fabulous footwear but not just limited to them I have sourced a selection of both high street and designer footwear in low, mid and high heels. Here goes!
If you click on a photo it will take you through to the web page where you can buy the shoes :)
These Kurt Geiger Glowing nude mid heel court shoes are sparkly beauties at a wearable heel height and a fairly reasonable price tag of £120.
I love the flash of colour on the sole of these Kurt Geiger Carvela Autumn nude high heel shoes, £110.
At £298 these Stuart Weitzman silver glitter nudist heeled sandal from Daniel Footwear are a show-stopper.
No shoe post would be complete without some Choos and these Jimmy Choo Addison Gold Lamé Glitter Pointy Toe Pumps are absolutely beautiful, £395.
You don’t need skyscrapers to be sophisticated! Jimmy Choo Alina ivory satin pointy toe flats with crystal detail are perfect for those who want a little bit of luxury but no extra height, £525.
Jimmy Choo Laurie Champagne Glitter Fabric Almond Toe Platform Pumps are the height of luxury and would set off any outfit, I can even picture these with a nice pair of skinny jeans. At £475 I wouldn’t want to take them off!
These Kurt Geiger Georgia gold high heeled shoes are simple but stunning, £110.
These Kurt Geiger Gertrude gold high heeled strappy sandals are beauties and a bargain at £65,
Perfect for a beach wedding or more casual or Grecian vibe, these Kurt Geiger Majesty nude flat sandals are £69.
If you need your “something blue” these Kurt Geiger Lotty high heel court shoes could just do the job. Reminiscent of Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding shoes but a snip in comparison at £125.
Kurt Geiger Mitzy silver mid heeled sandals bring a vintage vibe and they are not only a comfortable height but also a comfortable price at £95.
A favourite among our readers Rachel Simpson‘s new range was bound to be a hit. I love these primrose yellow Mimosa T-bar peep toe vintage wedding shoes, £170.
Copper tones are bang en trend so I absolutely love these Rachel Simpson Monique porcelain & rose gold leather T-bar vintage wedding shoes, £175.
Over to the high street this Office Parallel square toe strap sandal is a towering 11.9cm high and a reasonable £65.
These Ted Baker Peetch brooch detail court shoes are feminine and fabulous at £140. Another beautiful pink colour these Ted Baker Phinium embellished cut out court shoes are mid height metallics that would look stunning under a wedding dress, £140.
Back to the high street and these Topshop Rumour cross-strap sandals are a bargain at £46.00.
Topshop Hottie heeled sandals come in under £30.00 and are a really fashionable and comfortable height.
Finally these Topshop Jade mid heeled court shoes are a style that can be worn time and again so you’ll easily get your £42.00 worth!

Luxury bride Pippa is here with her first post today, all about the wonderful beauties that are designer shoes. Sparkles, vintage, something blue – you name it, Pippa has you covered :)
Hello all you gorgeous ‘Cwtchers’. I was so excited to be asked to be your ‘Luxury Bride’ and even more excited to be writing my first post to you all. Not just because I now have a legitimate excuse to stare wantonly at beautiful things all day (all for research purposes of course) but also because it gives me a chance to re-live some of the excitement my (now) husband, Mr P & I had in the build up to our wedding back in August.
I didn’t have to think long before coming up with an idea for my first ‘touch of luxury’ post. If you are anything like me, when pay day comes around all I can think about is shoe shopping…so where better to start?
When looking for bridal shoes I knew I wanted something special, a touch of designer luxury to step (quite literally) into married life in the most exquisite pair of shoes I own. I had dreamt about having a sneaky glimpse of that gorgeous red sole we all know and love when kneeling at the altar, or maybe tottering down the aisle in the most sparkly glittery heels by Gina or even slipping on some equally fabulous flats courtesy of Ms Seth to dance the night away…just how is a girl to choose?
After much painstaking research (hours of shoe shopping) I opted to say “I do in Choo”! I justified this to Mr P (and myself) by choosing a style I would wear again and again. In fact, I would wear them so often they would become the most reasonable item of clothing in my wardrobe based on cost per wear (£/wear).
Have I worn them since you may ask? Well, that’s beside the point…they’re just so pretty to look at and worth every penny! If you are like me and want to go all out on some fancy footwear, take a peek at these little beauties to see if I can tempt you into a little luxury for your big day…it’s a bride’s prerogative after all!

If you love high end brands but equally love a bargain, keep an eye out for top designer sample sales which usually take place at the end of the spring & autumn seasons. Gina usually have a fantastic one in Kensington but I have also been equally fortunate to stumble across the odd Jimmy Choo & Jenny Packham sale. It may mean taking a trip to London and sharpening your elbows but it can save you £££’s!
Hope you’ve enjoyed my first post as a Cwtch girl! :)
We were contacted by Rainbow Club recently, asking if we’d heard about their new range of accessories and handbags. Why yes, yes we have, and we’re big fans! In fact one of our blog sponsors, Hannah Emily Bridal, is a local stockist of Rainbow Club, so we’d already had a cheeky browse at the new offerings. Ladies – you are going to want to see these, trust us.
They asked us to put together a little list of our favourite pieces to show you, so here’s our Cwtch top 5! :)
First up it’s Pipit! We love the delicate look of this lace wrap – perfect for covering up during an autumn wedding. The ribbon tie is just darling,
Second in the list we have Forget Me Not (don’t you just love the names? So pretty!) – a gorgeous diamond headband. We love how striking this piece is (and also that it comes on a band, making it easy to put on and take off! We’re all about speed and comfort at Cwtch).
Next up we have these adorable Blossom Time shoes. look at them! They remind me of cherry blossom (my favourite time of year) – wouldn’t these be great for a spring wedding?
Sigh. We love, love, love this Amaryllis headdress. The vintage style, the little hidden heart – all of it is right up our street! :)
Lastly, we’re suckers for a tiara so we couldn’t very well leave the Royal Coris tiara off our list (it was inspired by the Royal wedding apparently)! So regal. Are we allowed to buy this and just, you know, wear it? Around the house?
Rainbow Club have been designing, making and colouring handmade satin wedding shoes since the mid 1980s, so they ought to know a thing or two about bridal trends. (They have over 600 UK stockists so we think they’re doing something right!) They can also dye your shoes and bags to match your colour scheme – just imagine the possibilities! (Is anyone else thinking they could have a colour matched pair for every outfit or is that just us..?)
Can we also just mention this fabulous header image they have on their website – love the idea of making giant flowers as wedding decorations! (Perhaps not butterfly wings as an accessory tho, that might be going a bit too far even for us ;) )
What do you all think – would you wear a tiara on your wedding day, or dye your shoes? Have you already made plans for your accessories? Let us know, you know we love to have a nose!
