Leah and Ollie chose Llandudno as the location for their pre wedding shoot as it was a special place to them. Their photographer Marie Lloyd told us a bit more about their engagement shoot…
Leah grew up in Llandudno and Ollie and Leah had spent many happy times there.
When Jason and I met Leah and Ollie we picked up on what an easy going fun loving couple they were, and the photographs developed easily. They both had some fantastic ideas to personalise their wedding day. One of their ideas was to use the pre wedding shoot to get unique table numbers for wedding reception.
Leah and Ollie love fancy dress and so made some masks at home to use as props in their photographs around Llandudno. They also brought along a chalk board and at each location we photographed at they wrote a table number down on the chalk board and used a different mask. As photographers it was our job to pick great locations for them and pose them and we were spoilt for choice.
On the day of the wedding reception I was over the moon to hear guests talking about the table number idea and praising the photographs. They really did bring Llandudno to their wedding reception and used shells from the beach strung together to make decorations and the pebbles from the beach were used as place names. I think you will get a look at this in their wedding blog post coming soon, so look out for it as it’s packed with great ideas for your wedding reception :)
Thanks for having us on Cwtch the Bride! xx
