Did you know that you can also get married in this iconic welsh location? No? Well why not contact the team to find out more and come down to meet them on the day?
Ahead of our next event on the 9th April 2017 in the stunning St Fagans we have our gorgeous Cwtch Workshops that are entering their third year and forth event by showing you what we got up to in Septembers #Cwtchfest2016 in St Fagans.
Over the weeks we have been trying to explain what makes our events a little different and the Cwtch Workshops are an essential part of this difference.
Set in Stretch event’s beautiful stretch tent, which allows you to feel part of the festival whilst experiencing some fascinating and enjoyable workshops. Like a Gin masterclass that was offered by Cardiff’s very own secret cocktail bar The Dead Canary– What is there not to LOVE!
It also offers you the chance to meet some amazing wedding suppliers and for them to run a half hour workshop in something that we know will help our brides and couples plan their wedding like the fabulous Penny from Pad Deco offering wedding planning inspiration.
One of the many questions brides question themselves when looking at costs is could I do flowers myself and Eva from The Flowerhive offers a workshop that allows you to have a hands on experience. Our Cwtchfest couples have LOVED her floral workshops.
Inspired? Are you yet to get your tickets? You will find them here…
We will be announcing this years line up in the coming weeks keep your eyes peeled!!!
Today we have a little thank you post to the exhibitors from our events that support our lovely blog. This week we celebrate our 4th Birthday and we have met some amazing people throughout Wales who have incredible businesses and truly LOVE what they do.Written in Lights
Our next event is on April 9th in the beautiful St Fagans National History Museum and if you are yet to get your tickets you can find them HERE
When we arrange events like #Cwtchfest2017 our main aim was to organise events we would enjoy when we were planning our weddings.
We want you, our lovely brides and grooms to be, to have an amazing experience where the wedding industry in Wales shows you what they can offer. Live music, workshops, demos, samples and more in a fun, relaxed and inspiring environment.
We hope (and so far its worked) that because they get so much from our events and because they are MEGA lovely people they plough their efforts into ensuring you get the most from the day. We work with 100’s of businesses throughout the year and it is impossible to name them all in one post but from the bottom of our hearts WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
What a day we have for you today!!! They say things happen in threes! Not only is it our very own welsh Valentines- St Dwynwen’s day, but it is also our beautiful Cwtch founder MARIA FARRELLY’s birthday and what better day to launch the sale of our CWTCHFEST 2017 tickets!!!
From TODAY until VALENTINES DAY you can get your tickets half price at a special Early bird rate. Yes you read that right – HALF PRICE!
Let us tell you a bit about Cwtchfest and our events and why we do what we do.
Cwtchfest is all about helping you, our lovely brides (and grooms) get the most out of your planning experience.
Here are our first Cwtchfesters through the door in September- at the start on the left and the end of the day on the right. Goodybag in hand, they had received hair and make up trial, attended workshops including one on making buttonholes with the lovely Eva from The Flowerhive, sampled cocktails, listened to live music in the field whilst having lunch and were just about to get a free henna tattoo from the talented Hennavative. They loved the entire day!!
We also wanted to showcase some outstanding Welsh wedding venues and it does not get more welsh than St Fagans National History Museum. Our very own Lindsey got married here so it holds a special place in all our hearts and holds a lot of nostalgic memories for many. Just look at what this stunning venue has to offer…
The event also allows you to experience MEGA outdoor structures that are available for your wedding before booking. Like the beautiful stretch tents from Stretchevent. These guys have an amazing array of structures to help bring your outdoor wedding to life.
Our suppliers are the best that Wales can offer and through our mutual support on the blog we build great relationships which allow exhibitors to go the extra mile at a Cwtch the Bride event. Over the coming weeks we will be showing off last years events to give you a greater taste of what we do.
