It’s also important to get the right musical combinations to suit your day, which is why Music for You takes time to get to know the Bride and Groom properly and to find out what their particular musical tastes are from the outset. Are there any special pieces of music which you both like? Is there a recurring theme for the Wedding and would you like music that reflects that? Would you also like the musicians dressed in a particular style?

Music for You can offer anything ranging from a Brass Quintet and a team of Fanfare Trumpeters, to a String Quartet and Harpist, right through to a 60’s soul Band and a 15-pice Big Band. The choice is yours.

Our 3 top tips for Brides-to-be


  1. If you’re having a Civil Wedding Ceremony, remember that you must not have music performed, (live or recorded), that contains ANY religious connection or connotation whatsoever.

2.  Don’t underestimate the power that music has on your special day – especially live music. The entrance of the Bride is probably one of THE most important moments of your life, so choose your music with that in mind.

3.  Remember that it’s your Wedding Day, so if you would like something slightly different to walk down the aisle to, there’s a chance we can do it for you. As our motto goes – “Music for You – it’s just that!

Today Cwtchers we have our fabulous Lush Listers Guest who who do an alternative to the usual photo booth.  They have their top 3 tips for brides to be but first they explain a little of what they do so very well…

In a nutshell we (Dylan and Leanne) provide a lightweight, pop-up mobile studio, a fresh alternative to the usual photo booths, you know the ones we mean (black box.. in the corner of room… 4 people in like sardines…)


We like to think that the ‘Guest Who’ Photo Booth has a touch of the handmade, DIY quality that fits in with many current wedding styles, but with all the professionalism of a commercial photo booth machine.

Whatever theme or style you have for your wedding, we can incorporate it into the booth…. you could say that we are style chameleons!


Based in South Wales, but we do travel all over the UK, Guest Who prides itself on being more personal than all the ‘others’.


We love crazy prop requests (we make specific signs for in jokes, phrases) in addition to the usual Photo booth sayings, we source specific prop requests (provided we can get it) to the needs of the happy couple.


We do all this through a meeting (ideally at the venue) prior to the event… just to iron out all the info, such as timings, so we don’t bring in our stuff in the middle of the grooms (or Brides) speech, where the booth will go (so we don’t set up in the middle of the buffet area) and any other issues… But also, its great to put a names to faces.

The Helen Rhiannon Designer Label is based in Swansea, on the edge of the beautiful Gower Peninsula. The label is run by 34 year old Helen Rhiannon Gill, an award winning designer, who designs and hand makes the dresses so they can proudly display ‘Handmade in Wales’ on the woven label.

The Helen Rhiannon Designer Label has recently just celebrated 10 years in business. The anniversary saw a sophisticated evening of celebration with a selection of the most memorable dresses on display along with the most recent Bridalwear collection.

Top Tips if you choose to have your dress designed and made in Wales.

  1. Even if you know what you want, always go and try on a few wedding dresses as it is such a different dress to anything you have in your wardrobe. Try on a wide range of styles as the style you may think will suit you, may not be the one!
  1. If you have a dress designed to fit you, then there is no need to crash diet. The dress is being made to fit you, not you fitting the dress. The right dress should fit you comfortably and flatter you in all of the right ways.
  1. Invest in comfortable and well fitted underwear as then you will feel fantastic on the inside as well as look amazing on the outside!

  1. Book Early: Last year we had to turn down over 30 brides because were already booked on the dates that they wanted. Make sure you get in early so that you can book the caterer of your choice for your chosen wedding date.

  1. Find a caterer than can interpret your ideas: You may be surprised to learn how much of a good working relationship we form with all of our brides, especially in the weeks leading up the big day. Finding someone that understands what you need and that you can communicate with easily is very important.

  1. The devil is in the detail: If you want to make sure that the food, drinks and service are EXACTLY how you want them then make sure you give your caterer as much information as possible.
